Alarms, interlocks and what if scenarios (with audio)
We walk through some simple HAZOP style scenarios to show how easy it is to visualise what will happen if a certain interlock or failure happens. We generate randomised equipment failures (valves), alarms , and interlocks using internal helper functions.This video shows how Spike can be used to quickly flesh out an alarm and interlock strategy. The scenarios can then be easily tested to see if the intended result happened. Finally, the paperwork can be automatically exported .
